| Objective PRSS8 is a serine protease and plays important roles in epithelial cell terminal differentiation,in the development of digestive system and immune system.Recent studies have demonstrated thatPRSS8 participates in epithelial barrier functions and isassociated with the development of insulin-mediated diabetes and carcinogenesis.This review summarized the biological functions of PRSS8. |
