| Abstract: | this article reports the antibiotic activityof Amethystodin A,N.3.N.4and N.5 to staphylococcus aureus and hemolytic streptococcus in vivo.The Yesults showed that all of them had antibiotic activity.With intravenousadministration,Amethystodin A showed the greatest efficacy,and when the dosewas only 1/4 of Sodium houttugfonate,its efficacy was also greater.The act-ivity of N.3,N.4 ang N.5 was the same as Sodium Houttugfonate's.Withoral administration,N.5was less efficient,N.3and N.4 were proved equallyy effective with Sodium Houttugfonate. |
