| Doctors’ professional dedication reflected in classic literature on traditional Chinese medicine could be analyzed from three aspects, that is, medical ethics, medical technology and medical style. On the aspect of medical ethics, doctors in ancient China emphasize the humane essence of medical practice, which takes virtue and humanity as top priority; on medical technology, they uphold the value of constant improvement with the guidance of traditional medical wisdom; and on medical style, they carry forward the concept of preciseness, prudence and justice above material gains. Nowadays, the traditional professional dedication in ancient China is still of great significance in guiding the education on professional dedication for medical students. |
